What is the CAPS Scholarship?

Funded by a grant from The Merancas Foundation, the Creating Access to Pathways for Success (CAPS) Scholarship Program fills the gap between what students receives in financial aid and what it costs to attend college, so students can graduate DEBT FREE. The program also matches students with a personal mentor to guide them from their senior year of high school through college graduation and beyond.

The CAPS Scholarship Program targets College AIM students who need it most—those who may not qualify for other scholarships and need an additional layer of support to make it to and through college. Our students who meet the eligibility requirements go through a nomination and selection process to enter the program. The CAPS Scholarship is awarded to approximately 20 high school juniors each spring. For more information, please visit the CAPS Scholarship website.
